Underground rocks

New terrain contains stone and mineral veins. It does not yet contain distinct rock regions or a deep rock layer below y = 0. The underground area down to y = -64 is not available yet.

Andesite, diorite, granite, tuff, calcite, blackstone, and slate are still available as blocks. You may find them in buildings or preserved areas of a saved world and use them for building. They do not tell you what rock you will find when exploring new terrain.

Bedrock forms the bottom of the world between y = 0 and y = 4 and cannot be broken. For exploring tunnels and finding minerals, see Caves and Blocks.
